The aim of this work was to re-interpret the old craft of weaving and bring it back into the interior. The basis of the craft was to create containers that could be used for transporting objects. Within the scope of this work, the re-interpretation was achieved through the use of a familiar shape, the cone.
These cones made of woven material became containers. Combining them with other materials results in different installations. The cones can become little helpers for various situations in the interior. The entire installation offers versatile storage options, divides the space, creates privacy and fulfills an acoustic function. The overall design and the weaving structure of the rattan cones is intended to evoke a feeling of security. The weaving creates structure, and the flexible installation options in turn allow the space to be structured.
