In my thesis, I investigate how the scientific paper could be transformed into a more accessible, comprehensible, and relatable form using design principles – inspired by design, narration, and didactical structuring. The goal is not the empirical proof that a new format is measurably »better«. Rather, it is about an experimental impulse on how the scientific paper can do justice to the significance it functionally holds in the scientific operation and the shaping of social discourses. The thesis here is: If research articulates itself more clearly, social progress also becomes possible. In this course, a prototype was created that shows how research can be told differently and visually structured.
