The project consists of the design implementation of the book “Über die See” by Mariette Navarro as part of a bachelor’s thesis. The focus is on the visual representation of the atmosphere of the sea as well as the emotional and surreal experiences of a ship’s crew on the Atlantic. Through typography, layout, and materiality, the mood of uncertainty, vastness, and movement of the ocean is made tangible.
