Trotzdem machen

Description

In May 2024, Bavaria and Hesse will introduce a ban on gender-neutral language. Gender-neutral language using special characters will be prohibited in public institutions. This politicises a topic that many decision-makers themselves consider supposedly insignificant. ‘Trotzdem machen’ demonstrates how and why gender-neutral language, both spoken and written, must continue to be part of our society.

Presented in hardcover form, an essay was created that addresses the opposing side as the supposed problem and takes up the ‘What now’. In addition, a softcover version, an enclosed postcard with the hard facts, and an animation were developed to provide further context for the topic in other media.
