Trink_Wasser is an interactive infographic that provides an overview of water issues by using a fictional private household located in Germany as a metaphor to illustrate the situation.
Topics such as water usage, water storage, and water extraction are visualised through pictograms, objects, and data. This creates an informational environment that viewers can explore.
The basis of the infographic is a 3D model, which has been developed into an interactive prototype for a digital application using renderings and UI elements.
The target audience of the application includes private individuals, municipal administrations, and water utilities, with the graphic intended to raise awareness among the former about the conscious and economical use of this vital resource.
