Take a Seat is a modular furniture system for the hospitality sector that consistently implements circular economy principles. The furniture combines durable, single-material components with a well-considered design that facilitates repair, reuse, and reintegration. A long-lasting aluminium connector enables flexible combinations of various frames and surfaces. By using recyclable materials such as polypropylene recyclate, pulp, PET fleece, and FSC-certified wood, while avoiding composites and harmful substances, the entire life cycle is ecologically optimised. The furniture can be transported disassembled, is easy to maintain, and fully returnable. Complemented by a take-back and rental model, resource-efficient use is promoted. The result is a holistic system that uses design as a tool to establish circular product cycles in the hospitality industry.
