Description

This autobiographical graphic novel is a collection of childhood memories.
What does it feel like to grow up in poverty, and how do these experiences affect later life? In several chapters, personal experiences are shared that reveal different aspects of poverty in everyday life.

To make the story easier to understand, I complemented my drawings with short, concise sentences and a few speech bubbles. It was important to me not to create barriers and to make the story accessible to as many people as possible. The simplified language is intended to ensure that the story can be read and understood by everyone, regardless of educational background or prior experience.
