Description

"Special Kitchen" aims to make it simpler for individuals with intellectual disabilities to prepare healthy meals on their own and eat independently. The draft, which was created with the users and their needs in mind, is a didactic idea for simple cooking instruction using the auxiliary items -KOCH X WAS- and -MISS X WAS-. The portioning aids and visual support of the cup system for cooking make orienting during cooking easier. The "kochmalwas" design allows persons with intellectual disabilities to actively engage in cooking by making it simple to construct your own dishes and learn cooking techniques. Instead of using a measuring cup with a difficult-to-read scale, "missxwas" uses replaceable cards that allow measurement by focusing on one measuring height.
