Description
In Sandbox Stories, four narratives unfold, making different dimensions of global sand mining visible. As an interactive, walk-in installation, the project translates these topics into a physical experience: four corridors covered with sand each represent one story. As visitors move through the sand, the content on a wall projection deepens – from introductory contexts to the solution level, which opens up sustainable alternatives and new perspectives. Sand is not only observed, but stepped on, felt, and walked through. In this way, the work combines space, movement, and information design into an immediate confrontation with a resource on which our modern life is literally built.
