ReRoute Play Wall is a modular, foldable bouldering wall system designed for indoor spaces in kindergartens.

It addresses the limited adaptability of many existing bouldering walls, which often fail to accommodate the different motor abilities of children of different ages in kindergartens. Children can reposition holds, adjust the level of difficulty, and create their own routes and new games.

This turns climbing into an active, iterative process—planning, testing, adjusting, and trying again—building not only strength and coordination, but also creativity, risk-assessment skills, and self-efficacy.

To fit modern urban kindergarten spaces, the system is designed to be foldable. When not in use, the panels can be folded flat for compact storage, allowing the room to be used for other activities.
