INFEE (Indoor Navigation For Everyone Everywhere) is an app that aims to reduce uncertainty, stress, and organizational challenges in complex buildings. As part of the prototypical implementation, the Weiden Clinic in the Upper Palatinate was chosen as the example environment. The focus is on accessible, intuitive route guidance within the building, which supports visitors, patients, and staff in everyday hospital life and takes individual needs into account. To achieve this, the app offers various forms of navigation, including a classic 2D view, a minimalist 3D display, and a camera-assisted AR navigation. In addition, routes can be personalized and adapted to different user groups in order to ensure the safest and most comfortable orientation possible. In addition to the app, an analogue signage system was created, which forms a holistic orientation system together with the digital solution.
