Description
Grassblock is a modular system of eight grass pavers with variable permeability and stability, depending on how much surface area is open. When arranged, the grass pavers can be shifted and rotated as desired so that they form gradients and patterns while adapting to complex surfaces. With the planning tool Permeable Patterns, the grass pavers are arranged parametrically, allowing them to be brought into the urban space with little planning effort. In this way, a widespread implementation of water-permeable paving can be made possible to counteract the increasing sealing of cities.
