Description

Orte ohne Eile is a structure for lingering in public spaces that opens up new places to spend time and promotes social interaction in an urban context.

The urban furniture is based on a modular system consisting of seating and standing benches as well as add-ons that can be supplemented, such as backrests or tables. Swiveling connection points allow different geometries to be realized, from anonymously convex arrangements to concave shapes that invite people to linger together.

The furniture is installed as closed structures around trees or urban infrastructure, allowing it to adapt flexibly to different spatial conditions.

The goal is to promote the quality of time spent in public spaces and to strengthen the social and ecological value of urban areas.
