Contextual Interactions with Smart Hub

Description

Contextual interaction is a concept in the field of HCI that I have explored specifically for devices such as smart hubs in residential environments with the aim of developing interactions that take the users’ context into account.

Through a multimodal approach, interactions can take place via touch, gesture, facial expression, voice, and posture, while the device communicates through haptics, sound, light, animations, and projections or other connected devices. This variety of input and output media allows a smart hub to adapt to different usage scenarios and provide seamless interaction experiences in everyday life.
