Newtrit: Wie kann man eine persönliche Ernährung entwickeln?
Description
Newtrit is a personal nutritional system that consists of a nutritional monitor (measuring the number of minerals in the body through spectrophotometry) with nutritional software. In order to create a healthier diet and save more resources. What is the Topic?
How much do we know about food? Do we understand the effects of nutrition on us? With the development of the food industry and nutrition science, we can prove the nutrients in all foods. In Germany, DGE (Desusche Gesellschaft für Ernährung) has developed the reference levels for nutritional intake based on gender, age, etc. Ie. that means we know how much nutrients are in our diet and how much we need every day. But because of individual differences and cooking diets is never a simple mathematical calculation. How can we use design thinking to connect the knowledge and "myself"?
Why does it look like this?
Hardware: The U-shape is convenient for one-hand operation: the inside is the sensor for measuring the mineral content in the body, and the outside is the user interface, which guides the user and intuitively displays the scan status. Software: Five major interfaces: a, personal portal page where you can set your own preferences and taboos; b. Diet recommendations(what you should eat more / less); c. Results of the measurement; d. The change in the nutritional status of the user in a week, month, half-year; e. Summary, which and how much food the user has taken in the last month.
What is special?
a. Due to an open measurement of the user, the spectral t-weight is an ideal choice of technique. The measurement takes place directly in the field using a proven spectral photometer - a measuring device the size of a hand-held scanner. The measurement is very simple, absolutely harmless, non-invasive, painless and fast. b. Through the record of the diet and the long-term observation of the measurement results are the diet recommendations, nutritional intake standards and references and completely personal. c. About ergonomics, each one has a different size by hand. In contrast, the sensors should connect as close as possible to the skin. That's why I thought about an airbag. On the one hand, if the product is switched on, the airbag inflates automatically until the sensors are in the correct position. On the other hand, through this interaction, an intuitive semantics (it works now) has been represented.
What is new?
Digestion is a complicated collaboration of many different organs and food intake is influenced by many factors and there are also individual differences. That's exactly the focus of my design. It's just like running: our left foot has taken a step - the knowledge of the nutritional content of almost all foods. It would be nice to get the right foot - "to understand myself" - to move on.
