Driving style reflects emotions and the inner self. NEED A RIDE? stages a fictional race against oneself and translates six facets into different driving styles. Shaped by circumstances and emotions, changing personalities become racing drivers who reflect personal highs and lows. The collection was inspired, among other things, by Michèle Mouton, one of the most famous women in motorsport. The silhouettes pick up elements of motorsport clothing and translate their dynamism into the collection through draping and deconstruction. The iconic houndstooth pattern runs through the looks as a recurring element and tells the story of the different driving styles with the help of various techniques such as roller printing, laser details or applications. Materials such as heavy leather, fine wool and elegant taffeta underline the connection between sportiness, elegance and emotional tension.
