Description

MonoSpeaker is an innovative Bluetooth speaker that combines body and sound membrane in one. In addition to the essential electronics, this minimalist design consists exclusively of plastic. The material structure gives the speaker resilient properties that replace the conventional glued-in rubber surround and enable the housing to be constructed from just one material. The aim of the project is to reduce electronic waste and promote the sustainability of electronic products. At the end of the product life cycle, consumers can easily separate the speaker from the technology themselves and dispose of it in household waste. Thanks to the reduced transport volume, the return to the manufacturer is considerably simplified, allowing the majority of the electronics to be reused. The development of an easily separable speaker increases the recyclability of the product.
