The work understands itself as a drawing archive of memory, which examines memory as a subjective, processual, and constructed state. Digital recordings are transformed into drawings through conscious design decisions in order to not only document the act of remembering, but to performatively retrace and internalize it. The drawing functions as a central medium: fragmentary, time-bound, and shaped by decisions, it shows what remains, changes, or disappears. Thus, an archive of 2,520 drawings is created, encompassing a year of personal moments, places, and relationships. The archive conceives itself as an inner, designed space and thematizes the search for belonging beyond a clearly located geographical home.
