Violence on the internet can take many forms. It is used as a tool to limit the social and political participation of women and marginalised groups in particular. The glossary aims to provide an overview of the different forms of online violence. It seeks to inform and create visibility. In addition to the factual explanations, an emotional level is added by illustrating the terms. The goal is to raise awareness of the issue, ideally to deter perpetrators, but at the very least to give victims a language to express their experiences.
