Ein körperbezogenes Objekt zwischen Funktion und Unterstützung
Description
Can jewelry be therapeutic? In dialogue with a person affected by rheumatism, this question became the starting point of a design process.
An ergonomic watch was developed, featuring a specially designed clasp and a strap made of woven horsehair, tailored to the individual’s needs.
The design takes both functional and emotional aspects into account. The goal is not healing, but personal support in daily life. The object is intended to ease the challenges of physical limitations while also serving as a gesture of appreciation. It demonstrates how design can contribute to everyday relief and create social visibility for those affected.
