Description
Green Facades is a modular façade system for urban greening, produced using ceramic 3D printing from a mixture of recycled brick powder and natural clay. The aim is to combine ecological, functional, and design qualities within one system.
The porous structure of the modules stores rainwater and distributes it passively, eliminating the need for external technology. The façade elements promote biodiversity, cool the urban climate, bind fine dust, and improve the microclimate. Their parametric design creates a vibrant appearance and allows for flexible combinations. Thanks to the modular construction, individual parts can be easily replaced or reused.
The system is suitable for both new buildings and retrofitting existing structures. Green Facades creates sustainable added value for architecture and cities and contributes to the climate-friendly transformation of urban spaces.
