Description
The bicycle camper creates an approach for a sustainable tourism offer in nature. It is rented in the holiday region, uses resources efficiently and enables a low-threshold offer for the tourism region. For the end customers, it creates an affordable holiday and a special nature experience.
A VELOAD serves as the base vehicle: a cargo bike with two seats arranged next to each other, a large loading area and an e-drive. The cooperation with VELOAD enabled me to develop a tailored solution where accessibility to the cycling tour holiday mode is paramount.
The structure consists of a steel frame into which a textile tent is clamped. A bed for two people is extended to the side. During the journey, the tent is packed compactly, but thanks to the lever mechanism, it is set up again in no time.
A kitchen consists of two modules and can be used flexibly. The e-drive is supported by a solar panel.
