Description

Dialogue as a Tool is a research and exhibition project on the question of how art museums and exhibitions can be designed to be more accessible, relevant, and socially effective in the future. The starting point is the assumption that museums are among the few public places where people encounter different perspectives, life realities, and viewpoints.

The project understands exhibition design as a tool to promote dialogue, empathy, and exchange. Instead of primarily focusing on the transmission of knowledge, it investigates the potential of emotional approaches, shared experiences, and open processes that offer visitors points of connection to their own life reality.

The work comprises a book publication with research, interviews, interactive questions, and a scenography manual, as well as a space-encompassing installation. It develops new approaches for exhibitions as spaces of social encounter.
