LUMENS

Description

LUMENS is an experimental photobook that moves at the intersection of fashion, theory, and visual narrative. It tells the story of a fictional species existing in a post-Anthropocene world. The work questions what it means to be human today, amidst ecological crises, social upheavals, and technological transformations. In doing so, LUMENS utilizes the aesthetics and attitude of punk subcultures and Donna Haraway’s biological scientific theories Staying with the Trouble and A Cyborg Manifesto as a theoretical foundation.
