Description
An orchestra stage is a special place, a symphony orchestra an impressive sound body. But it is not only shiny instruments and festively dressed musicians that shape the image, but also numerous pieces of stage equipment that appear less aesthetic and lacking a concept. A large symphony orchestra with over 100 musicians and their instruments, more than 40 stands and individual equipment, form a stately mass. If desk lights, microphones and cables also have to be set up, increasing confusion can become a problem.
The question arises as to functionality, efficiency, logic and context. Does everyone use the same equipment? What if people play from a tablet instead of paper sheet music? What pitfalls arise with a stage platform?
The aim of this work is to examine this topic and includes the development of a strategy for designing a corresponding product.
