Description
In times of global crises, it is becoming increasingly important to explore alternative working models that are not based on opposition, hierarchy, or domination. Although collectives have existed for a long time and in all areas of work and life, they are still widely underestimated.
As part of my bachelor thesis, I travelled to Mexico, Chile, Australia, and Indonesia to meet and learn from sixteen collectives in different contexts. The result of this participatory research project is not intended to explain theories of creative collaboration, but rather to show, from various perspectives, what happens when people believe in working together.
It is a playful manifesto encouraging us to boldly open doors into the unknown — and to leave our own doors wide open so that others (including cats!) may enter.
