Volatil

Description

‘Volatil’ is a jewellery collection consisting of various elements, made from 925/°°° silver. In these pieces, I visualise the impulse as the origin of movement. To depict the impulse, I use the oscillation lines of a double pendulum. Based on the mathematical phenomenon of chaos theory, each curve in the experiment is individual and cannot be reproduced, triggered solely by a slight variation in the initial impulse.
This allows me to capture the impulse as the decisive core through the motion curves. The objects are folded from these movements. Each piece of jewellery is bent from a single piece, including the ring band and mechanism. In their design language, they combine delicate lightness and dynamism through the tensioned surfaces, broken up by clear edges.
