Description
Transience in temporary space is generated by an accessible object made of two mirrored elements. Different arrangements create spaces to linger and perceive. The object consists of a biodegradable, recyclable material based on regional starch. Upon contact with water, its decomposition begins.
After two to four days, small material elements remain, which are decomposed by microorganisms. Inside is the seed of the plant from which the material was obtained. After decomposition, the seed is exposed and can begin to germinate, allowing the raw material cycle to begin anew.
An exploration of the question of how a stance can be taken towards a society shaped by newness. The desire for belonging, which is often fulfilled by trends in the product world, cannot be changed immediately. However, responsible alternatives can be created that fulfill the same needs.
