Description
What keeps many people in cities from using bicycles in their daily lives?
Often, there is a lack of secure parking — especially in older urban structures without integrated bicycle parking facilities. Velowall is my response to this space problem. It can be installed like a parklet on a street parking space and offers space for eight covered bicycles in the area of a single car — with enhanced theft protection. Optional green roofs, solar panels for lighting and connections for chargers can be flexibly adapted to local conditions and individual needs. Thanks to vertical parking technology and a hydraulic wall mount, even heavy e-bikes can be parked effortlessly.
The compartments can be used flexibly: for spontaneous parking or rented permanently to commuters. This way, cyclists know their bikes are safely stored right outside the door — making daily commuting easier and more attractive.
