This raises profound questions: To what extent does this new visual culture influence our understanding of truth and authenticity? How are social media and AI changing our view of fashion, political activism and social movements?
As part of my collection, I have explored how political-symbolic clothing can be reimagined in the digital age. If fashion is a medium that captures the cultural and political spirit of the times and connects people within social movements, the question arises of how it can be political without being superficial. At the centre of my examination is how the digital consumption of social media is changing the perception of fashion.
