Tiny Moor Lab

Description

The ‘Tiny Moor Lab’ combines environmental protection and research with a modular and circular design. It will enable continuous and seamless monitoring of the peatland to support the implementation of future restoration processes. It will also serve as a place for environmental education, contributing to the transfer of knowledge about nature conservation and peat farming. The concept of the ‘Tiny Moor Lab’ can be understood as a holistic approach to an ecological transformation process in the agricultural and construction sectors. The use of building materials from paludiculture is intended to demonstrate the constructive and design potential of these materials. Thanks to its construction method, the modular laboratory can be assembled in an efficient and environmentally friendly way, thus contributing to environmental protection. To this end, a prefabricated module made of paludiculture materials has been designed.
