“Tilt” is the result of a contemporary, design-based examination of topics related to physical health, lifestyle, and sustainability. While long-term physical damage caused by continuous sitting is increasingly entering the awareness of many people, the modular system “Tilt” offers a counter-design to the previous answers to the resulting design questions. Through the deliberately placed focus on the materiality, form, and function of the object and its individual parts, “Tilt” adapts to modern realities of life.

“Tilt” emerged as a consistent result of an iterative design process, which is characterized by a variety of material experiments as well as functional and proportional models.
