Description
‘The Interval Organ’ is an investigative work, the interface between dream and consciousness. In the design process, a media installation consisting of a VR experience and screen works was created, which transfers the phenomenon of sleep paralysis into an abstract form that can be experienced spatially. At the center, with the help of VR, a pulsating construct unfolds that is based on medical parameters and translates bodily processes into an independent visual language. The aim of the work is to make an invisible intermediate world visible and to open up emotional access to a phenomenon that is difficult to grasp and often misunderstood.
