Still Playing

Description

The project “Still Playing” combines theory and practice in search of a modular construction game that encourages adults to try out, dive in and adopt new perspectives. During the design process, I used sketches and models to develop a game that works without instructions or set targets. Rather, the focus is on the building process; the fun of the game is reason enough. The final product "Grow Up" not only reframes adulthood, but also grows beyond familiar geometrics in an unconventional way. The modular plug-in system of rods and flexible connectors invites a new, intuitive way of building and playing.
