Description

The ‘Stand-bye’ project sought to find a way to reduce electricity consumption in private households, thereby contributing to the reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions in Germany. The aim was to develop a new type of product that would help users to effectively and effortlessly switch off electronically networked devices, in particular those that consume a lot of energy in standby mode, and to promote the integration of this process into personal habits through functionality and convenience.

‘Toggl’ is a set of products designed to make this behaviour change almost effortless and thus motivate users to actively save energy. To achieve this, the package includes wireless sockets and power strips, as well as an appliance switch for convenient control.
