Description

Limited hand mobility can have a significant impact on a person’s life. The consequences are as varied as the causes and are often psychological in nature. ‘THEA’ is an occupational therapy device for the treatment of motor and sensory hand problems. It is loaned to patients for use at home and is characterised by the extensive adaptability of its hardware and software to individual needs.  Different input methods allow for a comprehensive and differentiated therapy. The integration of musical and playful elements into a variety of different exercises provides a motivating change to the otherwise often monotonous training sessions and helps to process the psychological consequences. The results achieved are recorded by a number of sensors and automatically transmitted to the therapist
