Description

“Space Vacation Structure” is a project that aims to provide a sheltered environment for humans to enjoy short-term stays in space. Combining the technical aspect of a space station and the comfort of a luxury hotel, the habitat is designed to offer all the amenities and services one would expect from a high-end resort. The project involved conducting research and analysis on space tourism, followed by designing the exterior and interior structure of the habitat to accommodate short-term stays for space tourists. The space structure is named UTIL, meaning “useful” in French and “hotel” in Tunisian, representing the combination of functionality and comfort that the habitat aims to provide, as well as the creator’s personal connection to their culture. To create a functional and aesthetically pleasing habitat, various factors have been considered, such as time, distance, temperature, gravity, psychological, and biological needs.
