Space.Cart

Description

The ‘Space.Cart’ is intended to bring colour to city life in the long term. A convertible cart with a battery, jukeboxes and compartments for furniture and games will move through the city’s public spaces. The focus is on the fact that gathering, socialising and listening to music together is not necessarily associated with consumption.  The ‘SpaceCart’ is intended to create a place in public space that is accessible to people regardless of their financial situation.  Anyone can join, bring and share what they want. You can pay – like a jukebox – if you want to influence the music played, or if you want to use special furniture or games. Because of the self-service principle, the ‘SpaceCart’ requires little labour to operate and can therefore be offered at a very low price. The aim of my ‘SpaceCart’ project is to overcome the invisible boundaries of public spaces.
