Description

Slit Shelving System is a modular shelving system built around the in-between space between two panels. A continuous central slit becomes an active structural slot where add-on modules can be inserted from above or below. Small chips lock the modules into the slit without visible screws or fittings. Instead of treating the shelf and its accessories separately, the system was designed as one integrated structure from the beginning. Modules such as a mini table, light, magnetic display clip, poster clip, power outlet holder, and bookend support display, work, lighting, storage, and cable organization. Metal vertical elements provide strength, while wooden horizontal surfaces offer a warmer contact area for objects and daily use. Through consistent materials, radii, and connection details, the system creates flexible functions while maintaining a calm and unified visual order.
