Printing is a traditional craft and an important part of our cultural history. Screen printing is one of the most versatile techniques, as it can print on a wide variety of materials and produce durable, high-quality results. Despite its creative potential, it is rarely used in schools.
The master’s thesis examines the potential of screen printing and the obstacles to its integration in schools, and develops ‘SIEBDRUCK TO-GO’ — a mobile concept for improved accessibility.

The modular system combines portable units with tools and materials for screen printing workshops. A flexible workshop trolley based on the Eurobox system enables screen printing even with limited space and resources. The aim is to teach students creative and manual skills in a playful way and to promote the traditional craft in an increasingly digital world.
