The concept consists of a package that is intended to turn breast self-examination as a means of breast cancer prevention into a more interesting experience for young women.
The spirit and purpose of the package is to turn a medical examination into an intimate experience. The package includes an educational booklet, an adhesive tattoo for the breast and a diary. The booklet provides users with playful information and guidance on the individual steps of SELF-CARE and information on the anatomy of the female breast.
The adhesive tattoo facilitates users to start palpation and supports them in this procedure. Possible changes or abnormalities in the breast can be recorded in the diary to be subsequently discussed with the doctor treating the patient. This concept allows every woman to take a decisive contribution to the health of her breasts into her own hands, discover their wonderful functions and get to know and love them a little better.
