Description
“Selbstverständlich angezogen” (Naturally Dressed) examines matter-of-factness as a design principle between nature, material, and clothing.
The starting point is the observation of natural systems, which are characterized by change, cycles, and interactions. This attitude serves as the basis for a design that focuses on openness and development instead of control and perfection.
The collection transfers principles of natural processes to the design process. Material is understood as an active design partner. Its properties, limits, and irregularities are consciously integrated and used as part of the creative process.
The focus is on a co-creation approach between humans, material, and nature. In this way, versatile designs are created that make adaptability and process-oriented character visible. The work understands fashion as part of natural contexts and shows an alternative approach to design that consciously allows for development and change.
