Description

The panel-based shelving system “RS-W_22” has a particularly technical look, is modularly constructed, simple to assemble and disassemble, and relatively production-friendly. The shelving system displays the basic characteristics of the prefabricated material from which it was developed. The system allows the furniture to be assembled in a wide variety of combinations, from a ceiling-high wall unit to a small bedside table. Using three types of connectors, the panels are braced over the depth of the piece of furniture, creating a stable and easily reversible connection. The single-grade lightweight aluminium panels only need to be cut to size, making the piece of furniture reusable and recyclable. The system can be expanded to include doors and drawers, utilising the open face corrugation as a connection point.
