Description
Handwashing is one of the most basic hygiene habits – yet even though everyone knows how important it is, people often only wash their hands briefly or forget it entirely. In addition, there are objects we hardly think about when cleaning: things like scissors or toilets that we use daily without realizing how many bacteria accumulate there.
This soap series takes exactly such everyday objects as its shape – chair, toilet, ring, scissors – and marks the areas particularly prone to germs with a vibrant red. When washing, the red is gradually rubbed off. The otherwise invisible dirt suddenly becomes visible, and handwashing receives tangible feedback.
In the end, it is about more than just clean hands: The soaps are intended to remind us of the inconspicuous places where we come into contact with bacteria in everyday life – and to make “hygiene” more concrete and tangible.
