Description

In immersive theater productions and art installations, the usual separation of stage and auditorium is dissolved. The visitors take an active part in the event and explore the stage or exhibition space autonomously. The realization of interactive experiences usually requires a deeper engagement with programming and electronics. However, this can be quite an obstacle. The modular system reACT enables creatives without technical knowledge to design interactive spaces on their own. reACT consists of various sensor modules that can be connected to existing stage lighting technology via a simple app interface. Movements and positions in the room are detected by the system and induce changes in the room lighting according to the settings made in the app. The room is no longer just the scene of action, but becomes a play partner itself.
