Description
The following bachelor thesis is about puzzles themselves, their variety of many different mechanisms and old as well as new methods of craftmenship in lots of various forms. But it is especially about those people who want to solve puzzles. People who make themselves a problem on purpose and wanting to solve it afterwards. A normally senseless task which often goes along with frustration. The motivation therefore will be thoroughly researched and examined. Positive impacts like the joy about moments of achievements will also be investigated.
The thesis ends with a puzzle box including four different mechanisms as a result of my examinations and observations. Summarized the goal is to enjoy the person who solves it as much as possible.
