“PROST! = ŞEREFE*!” opens up the opportunity to bring people from Turkish and German culture together and to promote mutual understanding and respect. Through playful elements and sharing together, a space is created in which encounter and togetherness become a matter of course.
For this purpose, typical drinking establishments of both cultures were investigated. It became apparent that trays and traditional games in particular offer exciting approaches to enable encounters. It was noticeable that children make contact more easily than adults. In order to also involve adults, games are suitable because they function without language and create an occasion for exchange. A tray complements this, as it symbolises coming together and enables sharing. This is how the concept of the trays and their accessories came about, which at the same time serves as a games collection.
