What is striking here is the spatial separation of illuminated areas and social meeting places. This discrepancy opens up possibilities: The park was investigated as an exemplary location where the public sphere and individual needs meet. This is where Nulo comes in: a luminaire that brings light specifically into social spaces. Its design invites interaction, allows flexible placement and, with warm light, creates a pleasant atmosphere with minimal light emission. The luminaire is autonomous, not anchored in the ground and designed to be vandalism-proof. Nulo sees itself as street furniture that takes social and ecological aspects into account and stands out clearly from conventional street lighting. Through its autonomy and light quality, it creates new anchor points in the nocturnal urban space.
