Description
The project “Not Fucking Sorry Manifesto – On female guilt and the liberation from it” deals in its theoretical part with the origin of female guilt and the associated excessive apologizing. In doing so, it takes a critical look at patriarchal beliefs that lead to the restriction of women’s scope of action.
As a practical piece of work, I designed a manifesto that serves the self-empowerment of women. I implemented this in the form of an (animated) poster series.
Furthermore, I developed a workshop concept that aims at the independent formulation of a manifesto by the participants and also includes print media such as flyers, stickers and anti-sorry-zines.
The design of the media was created experimentally out of the analogue and focuses on the thistle as a metaphor for taking up space and robustness. For visual conspicuity, I printed on neon green.
