Freezing of Gait is a stressful blockage of movement that occurs in up to 80% of all Parkinson‘s patients. It describes the feeling of being stuck to the ground despite the intention to walk. NIEE is an elegant, inconspicuous device to release this blockade. Without additional therapies, without stigmatising aids and methods. The cuff is worn under the kneecap and can be used on both sides. A ring on the index finger acts as a trigger. When activated, the cuff sends an electrical impulse to the patellar tendon. The contraction of the muscle releases the blockade and allows to continue walking unhindered.
